During these unprecedented times, we take our role as an essential service provider seriously and we remain open to service our customers. We understand that everyone is very concerned with the potential spread of the Coronavirus. We’re following the guidelines put in place by the federal government, local governments and the CDC.
Below are some of the safety precautions we’ve implemented to protect our team and our clients:
McLean, Virginia was named for John Roll McLean, the former publisher and owner of the Washington Post, and formed from the merger of the communities of Lewinsville and Langley. It is also the location of historic homes like Hickory Hill, the former home of Ethel Kennedy, widow of Robert F. Kennedy, and Salona, the former home of Light-Horse Harry Lee. Today, members of Congress, diplomats and high-ranking government officials are among the high-profile people who make this Northern Virginia community their home.
Since 2008, 123JUNK has been providing junk removal services for both residential and commercial customers in this thriving area that abuts Tysons Corner, with its many high-rise office complexes, apartment and condo complexes and high-end retail shopping at Tysons Center, Tysons Galleria and other shopping areas.
123JUNK’s fleet of trucks and trained, uniformed workers can handle any size job, from a single desk to multiple loads. We can haul away unwanted furniture items such as couches, chairs, recliners, tables, TVs, and appliances. And don’t forget we also remove yard debris, rubbish or trash.
Retail owners and office managers in McLean often call upon 123JUNK to help clear out office spaces. We are qualified to dispose of light machinery and computers as well as other electronic equipment such as monitors, printers and copies, along with larger items and office furnishings.
The 123JUNK motto is Donate—Recycle—Dispose, which helps protect the McLean environment.
First, we sort out items that can be donated to our charity partners that include the Northern Virginia Family Services, the Good Shepherd Alliance and the Habitat ReStore of Northern Virginia.
Next, we identify pieces that can be recycled, such as electronics and metals, and dispose of them at the appropriate recycling centers. This helps put these critical elements back into circulation.
In the final step, we dispose of everything that cannot be salvaged at the local dump. This three-step process greatly minimizes trash impact on our environment.

Incredibly professional and great service! Two emails and a phone call and everything was set up. Team showed up 30 minutes early (after calling to make sure that it was ok to come early!) and was in and out quickly and efficiently. Price was very competitive, too. Will definitely use 123Junk again.
I was extremely impressed. Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable and professional. The gentlemen who did the pick up were very careful. They looked very professional, and their truck was the cleanest junk collectors truck I’ve ever seen!
They were very responsive, showed up on time and dealt efficiently, collaboratively and congenially with the removal, which included a massive sleeper sofa that had made it into the basement years earlier and had resisted previous attempts to extract it. I was so impressed. Would recommend highly to anyone.
When you donate, you reduce waste and prevent useful items from ending up in landfills. Less rubbish means a cleaner planet and that’s something we can all get behind.
Our goal has been to keep McLean, VA clean and to keep waste out of landfills.Learn More About Us
