Vice President of Operations and Logistics

A day in the life:

This newly created role will report directly to the CEO off 123JUNK to set and achieve desired growth and expansion. This role will have 3-4 direct reports and a total organizational scope of 40+ employees. The VP of Operations will primarily be responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of all projects across the company, and will also possess the ability to build business with current customers by delivering on commitments. This role will be responsible for evaluating current and proposed systems and procedures and determining and implementing changes as necessary. Successful candidates will have proven success creating and implementing strategic initiatives for both the logistics and operations of the business.

Core Requirements:

• Provides operational and logistical support for the business
• Drive continuous operational productivity, efficiency and EBITDA improvement
• Participates in strategic planning meetings to develop and execute on objectives
• Develops and maintains annual budget and forecasts; monitors financial reports of the region to ensure budgetary compliance with corporate goals
• Monitors customer, client and associate satisfaction surveys. Conducts audits, surveys, and assessments to ensure company policies and procedures are followed
• Completes all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in the corporate policy and procedures on a timely basis meeting all prescribed deadlines
  • Lead centralized operational KPI capture, reporting and governance
  • Enforce operating model policy compliance with keen focus on contract, regulatory, and pricing compliance; refine operational policies over time to enhance business outcomes
  • Oversee and guide client satisfaction program

What you bring to the table:

• 10+ years of operations delivery, consulting, process transformation, process excellence
• Six Sigma and/or Lean Expert experience preferred
• Leadership experience driving process transformation initiatives
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong logistics background
• Experience growing and expanding into new territories (preferred but not required)
