Frequently Asked Questions

How does it work?

123JUNK is fully insured to go into your home or place of business, to pick up and remove your unwanted items for a fee. We charge by volume. In other words, the final price is based on how much space your items occupy on the bed of our trucks.

Our price is a flat rate, which includes all gas, labor and disposal fees. After loading our trucks at the project site, we will later unload using our proprietary 3-step process – 1-Donate, 2-Recycle, 3-Dispose. We are also happy to provide you with receipts for any items we were able to donate to our partner organizations.

How large are your trucks?

The beds of our trucks are 14' Long x 8' Wide x 5' High. We usually describe a full truck as holding 10 standard living room sofa's, which means we can haul as much as 10 fully-loaded pickup trucks at one time!

The beds of our trucks are open, so there is also some wiggle room in terms of what we are able to fit into our truck beds.

What form of payment do you accept?

123JUNK accepts checks and all major credit cards.

Is 123JUNK insured?

Yes, 123JUNK carries General Liability Insurance, Workman's Compensation and Theft/Collision Insurance for our vehicles.

Clean-Outs:

What DON'T you take?

Some items require special handling, which should be provided by companies who know how to properly dispose of them. Don’t assume that we will just “throw these things on the load.” We are not allowed to assume responsibility for the articles on this list. Some of these items can also prove to be harmful to the environment.

  • Paint
  • Chemicals

  • Asbestos
  • Gasoline/Oil
  • Hot Tubs

Why use 123JUNK instead of a dumpster?

Unlike a Dumpster Service, 123JUNK provides ALL the labor and clean up. We only charge for what we take away. We're in and out. Dumpsters sit on the property and are an eyesore for the community. Dumpsters also require you to do all the lifting and loading yourself. You also pay for the entire volume of the dumpster, no matter how much you fill. With 123Junk, you only pay for what you use.
