123JUNK was started by a 23 year old, one year out of college who was working in outside sales for a moving company. It seemed as though everybody he moved had a few items, a room or even a basement worth of junk to get rid of and no means to get rid of it.
Many of them tried various charities, only to discover that they were very selective in what they would take. On top of that, these organizations required the individual to have the items out on the front curb, putting the burden on the home owner. What was needed, was a stress free way to get rid of their rubbish just by picking up their telephone. The brilliant young man put two and two together and on a cold January evening 123JUNK was born.
Since day one, 123JUNK’s mission has been to make junk removal as easy and stress free as possible. We attempt to recycle and donate everything we can and are willing to mail you a receipt for any donated items for tax purposes.
